Biography
Prof. Daniel Dąbrowski is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Szczecin, Poland, specializing in company law, transport law, and consumer law.
He graduated from the University of Szczecin in 2000 and obtained his Doctoral degree in Legal Sciences from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in 2009. In 2025, he earned his postdoctoral degree (doktor habilitowany) based on his research on multimodal contracts for the carriage of goods under national and international law.
Since 2001, he has served at the University of Szczecin, progressing from Assistant to Assistant Professor in 2015 and Associate Professor in 2026.
His academic research focuses primarily on company law and transport law, with additional interests in consumer protection. He has authored and co-authored several monographs and numerous academic articles published in Polish and English.
Prof. Dąbrowski has extensive international teaching experience through the Erasmus programme, delivering lectures at universities across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. He has also delivered guest lectures at the National University of Management (NUM), Cambodia, in 2019 and 2023.
He is a member of the CMR Advisory Council, an international academic initiative promoting the uniform interpretation of the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR).
