At NUM iLAW, legal education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. Moot court is at the heart of our learning-by-doing approach, giving students opportunities to apply legal knowledge to complex hypothetical cases, conduct legal research, prepare written submissions, develop persuasive arguments, and advocate before academics, judges, lawyers, arbitrators, and other legal professionals.
Through national and international competitions, students strengthen their legal knowledge while developing research, writing, advocacy, critical-thinking, teamwork, communication, and professional skills required for their future careers.
Moot Court is also formally integrated into the current NUM iLAW curriculum as a 3-credit elective, reinforcing its role as an important component of practical legal education.
