On 8 September 2026, Mr. Din Siden, Director of NUM iLAW, joined a special discussion and mentoring session with the winners of the Public Speaking Competition organized by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit at the Office of the Council of Ministers.
The session was led by H.E. Pen Bona, Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister and Head of the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit, and brought together representatives of participating universities, lecturers, and the six winning students.
NUM was represented among the winners by Mr. Samith Virakbot, who earned Joint 5th Place in the public speaking competition on the topic:
“How Should Youth Prepare Themselves to Contribute to Achieving Cambodia Vision 2050?”
The follow-up session provided an opportunity for the winning students to engage directly with H.E. Pen Bona, receive further guidance on national policies and the Pentagonal Strategy – Phase I, and strengthen their knowledge and public speaking capacity.
Beyond recognizing the students’ achievements, the session also encouraged the six winners to continue sharing their knowledge and experiences with fellow students and to serve as young voices in promoting greater understanding of Cambodia’s national development priorities.
NUM iLAW is proud of Mr. Samith Virakbot for his achievement and continued engagement. His participation reflects our commitment to supporting students not only in legal education, but also in developing the communication, leadership, critical-thinking, and civic awareness necessary to contribute meaningfully to Cambodia’s future.
NUM iLAW extends its appreciation to the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit and H.E. Pen Bona for providing this valuable opportunity for young people to learn, exchange ideas, and deepen their understanding of their role in contributing to Cambodia Vision 2050.
