September 19, 2026 - 65 views - By NUM iLAW Editorial Team

On 19 September 2026, NUM iLAW conducted a Moot Court Fundamentals Training led by Mr. Din Siden, Director and Coach at NUM iLAW, introducing students to the world of mooting and the opportunities it can offer throughout their legal education.

The session focused on helping students understand what moot court is and why it matters for law students, highlighting how participation in mooting can help develop essential legal and professional skills, including legal research and writing, critical thinking, oral advocacy, public speaking, teamwork, discipline, and professional confidence.

The session also introduced students to the international exposure and opportunities that can come through mooting, from participating in national and international competitions to engaging with different legal environments, institutions, universities, and legal professionals.

NUM iLAW extends our appreciation to all the aspiring young law students who participated and showed their interest in exploring the world of mooting. We hope the session inspires them to take the next step in their mooting journey, and we wish them every success in their legal education and future careers.
